You’re naked. Now what?
Sometimes we treat getting naked like the starting gun. Clothes are off, so now we move quickly toward sex, orgasm, or whatever we think is supposed to happen next.
But what if we didn’t rush?
Kiss. Explore. Let your hands learn the body in front of you again. Use a toy to tease without immediately giving everything it can offer. Get close to giving more. Then don’t.
Notice the way a kiss gets hungrier. The way hands become a little less patient. The change in breathing. The way someone starts leaning into your touch instead of simply receiving it.
Let anticipation become part of the pleasure.
There is something powerful about allowing desire to grow until “I like this” becomes I want more.
That does not mean withholding pleasure just for the sake of withholding it, and it does not mean there is a particular destination you have to reach. It is about being present enough to notice what is happening between you and taking enough time to want more.
Sometimes intimacy is not about how quickly we can satisfy desire.
Sometimes it is about seeing how beautifully we can build it together.
🌷 Reflection Question
What might happen if, instead of rushing toward the next thing, you gave yourselves time to see just how much desire you could build together?
